Idyllic And Peaceful Family Home

L’emplacement est extraordinaire. La maison est très cozy, super bien équipée et très bien chauffée. C’est extrêmement calme et nous avons très bien dormi. L’épicerie à 5 minutes offre tous le nécessaire pour cuisiner. Le logement est très facilement accessible, le chemin est facile à trouver et dégagé tous les jours. Le sauna chauffé au bois est vraiment un plus. La cheminée dans dans le séjour aussi. Il faut juste trouver comment obtenir du bois! L’homme qui dégage la route d’accès, qui habite très proche peut livrer du bois. On peut le joindre en se renseignant à l’épicerie. Sont numéro de téléphone est également noté sur un papier dans l’appartement.

Le conduit d’évacuation de l’eau de la douche du bas était bouché. Nous n’avons pas pu utiliser le douche du rez. En pleine période de fête il n’a pas été possible de le réparer. Il y avait clairement un souci de nettoyage de l’évacuation, elle était vraiment sale. Le reste du logement était très propre. Sol, vaisselle, cuisine et draps. Avoir du wifi serait un plus.

A nice big deck where we managed to watch the dancing northern lights for hours on 23 Dec! Fairly well-equipped kitchen. Very effective heaters. Quiet environment. Good hot showers.

Poor plumbing. The water in the bath tub leaked onto the floor after every shower. Poor electrical wiring of the washing machine and dryer. The fuse tripped every few minutes. Had to hand wash clothes instead during our 4-night stay. No bins for waste disposal. Tight parking space. Had to make several 3-point turns to swing the car around and out.

The place is beautiful, and we had wonderful views of the aurora and the ocean. The upstairs is renovated beautifully, all new appliances, and it's wonderful.

The keys were in a lockbox, which was not visible, and despite three of us searching for it, we were unable to locate it without numerous calls and messages to booking.com. It turned out that it was hidden under the short set of stairs, facing backwards, requiring us to crouch, tilt our head up and enter the code almost upside down. I was unable to do this alone, as I have a shoulder injury, and due to the angle, it required two of us. This was extremely stressful, and the cab driver gave up an hour of his time to help us, and by not leaving us in a snowstorm on our own. The instructions to get there didn't match the experience (talking about gates, etc), and the picture of the house on booking.com is taken from the back of the house, so it's not identifiable from the front when you actually find it (we were worried we looked like we were breaking into someone's home). The location was further out from Tromso than we realised (even though it came up in the Tromso search on booking.com), so the cab fares cost us over 478772 NOK due to arriving and leaving in snow (making the 900m walk to the bus stop impossible). The washing machine and dryer don't work properly - the washing machine doesn't drain, so the clothes are soaking wet, and the dryer short-circuits the fuse frequently, requiring us to spend two whole days focusing on doing our washing (going back and forth, up and down the stairs, wringing out clothes, resetting the fuse box).

Nous sommes arrivés par -3 degrés dehors dans une maison non chauffée avec 10 degrés à l'intérieur... Un radiateur dans la piece de vie non fonctionnel, un insert de bois avec seulement une flambée possible pas de stock de bois à disposition... Location très difficile à trouver, nous avons l'impression de rentrer chez des voisins et finalement il y a deux barrières à ouvrir et une boîte à clefs bien cachée, digne d'une chasse au trésor en pleine nuit, heureusement que ces voisins en question sont gentils et nous ont indiqué la cachette... Quant à l'agence qui gère cette location, une vraie déception, ne se déplacent pas pour apporter du bois et un nouveau radiateur.. mais offrent 500kr pour aller se chercher nous même du bois. Nous avons demandé un lit bébé, il était disponible mais il fallait faire deux heures de route AR pour aller le récupérer. Deux jours plus tard un ami du propriétaire est venu regarder le radiateur, a déneigé le chemin et a ramener un sac de bois. Très sympa ! En revanche, belle maison, fonctionnelle, design, vue magnifique sur la plage, pas de wifi, 4 chambres dont une sans radiateur, sèche linge qui fait sauter le compteur électrique, kayak à disposition. Nous sommes loin de l'accueil des propriétaires norvégiens que nous avons pu bénéficier dans nos autres logements au cours du voyage

Access to the house plot was through another neighbor's yard and pasture. 👎👎👎 The location of the house was not as close to the beach as the pictures show. 👎👎

Great place with such an amazing view! Fully equipped with everything for cooking. Plenty of leftovers from other people. Can even do washing machine and dry the clothes. There is a sauna with a wonderful view ! The bitch is only few meters away from the house. rein deers were visiting us every day. I absolutely recommend this place 🤩

It is a nice place but just so you know it is a bit remoted for every activities. But it is totally worth it for the view and staying in a peaceful environment!

Unsere Tage in diesem Ferienhaus waren wunderschön! Es liegt ruhig in einem kleinen Dorf, fast direkt an einem winzigen Strand und man hat morgens einen herrlichen Blick auf das Wasser und Berge. Wir waren im März (Winter) dort und wir haben an drei von 5 Tagen Nordlichter beobachten können (an unserem letzten Abend hatten wir eine Vorhersage von 100% und wir haben von Mutter Natur ein richtiges Feuerwerk geboten bekommen^^). Das betreten des Ferienhauses war kontaktlos möglich, uns wurden aber mehrere Ansprechpartner samt Telefonnummern genannt, an die wir uns in Notfällen vor Ort wenden konnten. Wir haben das Ferienhaus vom Flughafen in Tromsö mit Taxi erreicht, was gut funktioniert hat (Tipp: steigt erst ins Taxi NACHDEM ihr über den Preis gesprochen habt. Von einem freundlichen Taxifahrer vor Ort haben wir erfahren, dass es in Norwegen einen Maximalpreis bei Taxifahrten gibt, den einige wenige schwarze Schafe aber überschreiten. Wir haben für eine Fahrt ungefähr 1900 Kronen bezahlt, was völlig in Ordnung für die Strecke war. Ich empfehle Taxi Tromsö mit den blauen Fahrzeugen). Über den Gastgeber selbst (mit dem wir nur schriftlichen Kontakt hatten) und das Ferienhaus kann ich nur Positives sagen, da alles absolut problemlos lief und toll war, die Bilder entsprechen 1 zu 1 der Realität. Die Badezimmer sind klein aber echt schön gemacht und man fühlt sich einfach wohl. Hier auch noch ein kleiner Hinweis (den wir selbst nicht in der Beschreibung gefunden haben): es sind Handtücher und auch Bettwäsche vor Ort vorhanden. Wenn man da neues braucht bzw. Fragen dazu vor Ort hat, gibt`s auch dafür einen Ansprechpartner der einem mitgeteilt wird. Unser Fazit: Es war ein toller, unbeschwerter Urlaub wie wir ihn haben wollten, jederzeit wieder!!!^^ Danke Tobias!

Das Haus liegt an einem wunderschönen, ruhigen Platz ganz nah am Meer und hat eine phantastische Aussicht. Nach der Sauna kann man ganz schnell am Strand ins Meer laufen. Die Betten sind super, die Badezimmer neu und prima , die Küche super ausgestattet mit neuen Geräten. Wir haben uns rundherum wohl gefühlt. Der Standort ist toll um Nordlichter zu sehen.
