USI loved being able to get in and out with minimal contact or interactions with others. I loved the cleanness, newly renovated, and softness, comfortably of the bed. I loved that they thought of water and snacks. The breakfast was simple but ample. The fresh blueberries were great. The Keypad entry for the house and room was great. As a woman traveling alone, I felt safe. I would most definitely stay here again.
Minor thoughts to improve even more: The bathroom floor felt like it had some sand on it. Probably needs a good mopping more frequently. Add a makeup/shaving mirror and a few more lights in front of the vanity to the bathroom. Otherwise, this house is lovely and very comfortable!
USUSLoved staying here! Lovely clean and comfortable setting as a stop on our way to Outer Banks. Lovely house with great, clean rooms, beautiful dining room and lots of nice paintings (that are for sale), makes this a lovely homely setting to put your feet up. walking distance from quite a few of the little restaurants in the area as well as from the river and adjacent walking trail lining the banks of the river. Hunter, who looks after guests here, is a gem and made sure we were well informed and attended to all the time prior to, and during our stay. Can definitely recommend staying here!
