Comfortable bed

Only one coffee cup/mug?! Very strange. Communication lacking. Owner delayed check-in & we felt rushed to check out. Rather get a lock box for the key & not have to beg for check-in instructions or told to give key to cleaning lady at 8:30 on check out day. Did not feel like a valued guest - more like owner was doing us a favour.

They forgot to clean the braai, and could have done with an extra roll of toilet paper in the bathrooms. We had to go buy a roll. Also second bedroom is up a very steep flight of stairs which isn't clear in the photos.

Concept was good. Lounge couch, downstairs double bed was comfortable. Cast iron stove heated main open area well.

Cleaning was poor, especially in kitchen and scullery area, drawers, dishes. No instruction for electricial meter and at 11pm first night we were calling various managers on the list, when suddenly plugs and lights went off. They had not fed the meter for us evidently. Entire unit needs electrical upgrade and new plugs, downlighters. Heaters in bedrooms and regularly laundered extra blankets provided especially in Cape Winters.
