The Fanny Talbot

Lovely breakfast. Good service. Nice bar with seating area outside. Modern decor. Great facilities in the room with kitchenette. Very clean. Comfortable bed and great shower. Very close to the shops, beach, pubs and bars in Barmouth and close to other attractions. We visited portmeirion which was beautiful and only about 45 minutes away. Would definitely recommend hotel and area.

The sealant at the bottom of the shower let their standards down as very thing else was amazing

Beautiful hidden gem. Great room ok the top floor. Had amazing dining experience and the 3 staff members we met were all professional and friendly. Would definitely stay her again.

Comfortable, uniquely stylish, high quality accommodation. Our room was very clean and well equipped. The small kitchen area in room 3 was well located within the space and would come in handy for snacks etc. Breakfast was delicious and served in the very nice restaurant area. Unfortunately we could not sample the lunch/evening menu but will make this a priority for our next visit.

Great location in the heart of Barmouth, quiet and loads of space over three floors. Clean and cosy. Perfect for a family of cyclists.

Could have provided a tea towel; offered breakfast in advance downstairs and contacted ahead to offer a table for lunch/dinner. We also had a tricky moment with parking as many people spaced out their cars in the car park, leaving no space for us. Luckily someone left within 30 minutes of our arrival. I can see this being an issue during peak periods. Aside from this, no other issues.
