Antik Cave House

Large cave room (it has a 'salon' part on top of the bedroom). Located ideally if you want to be close to the tourist areas of Capadocia but still sleep in the quite part of town. Breakfast was made fresh by (I assume) the mother of the owner. The stars of the place are the two dogs of the owners, Mila and Pacha, who will gladly join you for breakfast. Overall good price-quality.

The room is a little bit humid - which will happen in most cave rooms. Remember when booking that you will need a car or taxi to get to Urgup from Kaiseri. For restaurants you'll need to go to the center of town, which is less than 10 min by car.

A localização.

I think the price is cheaper than many other cave hotels in this area. The breakfast is buffet style and very nice. I could eat a lot and felt full. I was told that the hot air balloon tour usually costs 200 to 400 euros, but luckily there was a campaign, and I could join for 120 euros. The room was big enough for a solo traveler.

The hotel is not located in the center of Ürgüp, and it is on a hill, so it’s a bit hard to go by walking. They also arranged Red Tour and Green Tour for 60 euros each. I joined both. But some places are overlapping (like Göreme Panorama and Uçhisar Castle). Also, both tours include two shopping stops. If you are not interested in shopping (like me), it may feel boring. They arranged a shuttle to the airport for 40 euros. I think maybe if I searched by myself more carefully, I could find a cheaper option. So maybe it’s better not to leave everything to the hotel and try to check by yourself too (this is just my feeling, not based on real information). Wi-Fi speed was quite slow. When I measured, it was only 1.9 Mbps(not 19). The owner and his son (I think) don’t speak English well, so I used Google Translate to communicate with them.
