Delightful Dog Friendly Seaside Cottage in Shaldon Devon

The house was very clean and had extremely comfortable beds. Great to have a washing machine and tumble dryer available especially with children. The outdoor space and water tap made it quick and easy to wash away those sandy toes from beach :) We loved the easy 5 minute walk to the beach.

The lack of parking outside the property was the only downside to holiday. It was very difficult to unload the car apon arrival as a solo parent with 3 excited children as the car blocked the narrow road and I had to keep jumping back in to move it. It was extremely hard to find a parking space nearby everytime you went out in the car which did put us off exploring more but the kids enjoyed the days on the local beach and were happy.

Great location, walking distance to Shaldon and the Ness beach. Pubs, cafes and shops nearby.

We thought parking would be an issue but found a space nearby. We need to be quick unloading our car due to no parking at the house.

Great size and layout - lovely and quiet and really easy to get to the beach or up to the botanical gardens with the dogs.

Superb location in the centre of the village. Everything we needed was only a short walk away. Log burner is a lovely feature, every amenity is catered for.

Absolutely beautiful house and very central in Shaldon. It was spotless & had all of the facilities we needed as a family.

Parking - but that was to be expected in Shaldon, so not a negative.
