Gate House Lodge on a working farm inc EV Charger

Immaculate and well equipped. Beautiful local walks & the sunsets were stunning!

We would have liked a bit of lawn for the dog. But the gravel drive is probably much more practical.

Could have been a bit more storage for food items in the cupboards. TV remote wasn’t very responsive.

We loved the cabin which was very cute, comfortable and extremely well equipped. We had everything we needed with facilities such as a coffee machine and hairdryer. We appreciated the range of extras: wine, chocolates, hot drinks, jams, olive oil, washing up liquid etc, and we were provided with helpful dog bowls, towel and treats. There was also comfortable outside furniture. Communication was good and the owner was very welcoming and helpful - thank you Julian.

The fenced area in front of the cabin would have perhaps been improved by some grass. In view of the lovely outside furniture, it was a shame to look out on the gravel, and our elderly dog found it too sharp to walk on. The view over the fence towards the fields was lovely though.

Loved the farm and the accommodations

Pretty location. Very quiet at night. Clear view of the stars. Very friendly owners. Owner very informative of the farm and local attractions and amenities. Owner gave us a tour of the farm and let us feed the animals. The farm is very well maintained, clean and the animals are well looked after.

Temperature went up to 32 degrees during our stay which meant that as it's a small cabin, it was a little uncomfortable in the heat.
