Luxury Absolute Ocean View Lodge

Absolutely amazing house in the most beautiful location, a real hidden gem. Host was extremely helpful and had good fast communication.

The beautiful modern look, Amazing view and also the bath tub was fantastic to wind down after the huge day we had attending te matatini in New Plymouth

Excellent location and luxurious facilities. Immaculate with nice touches throughout the property. Definitely ideal for business travellers visiting Taranaki if you want to a break from the city. The starlink internet was great to do some work after a stroll on the beach.

The Lodge is fully equipped (washing machine, dryer, dishwasher), great bath and shower. The view to the sea is exceptional.

Fabulous location with lake, sea, sunset and star views! Loved the beach swimming followed by a dip in the lake. Clean, comfortable and well presented home. Grateful for fans in each bedroom.

Stunning views, spotlessly clean and thank you to have spare food in the pantry in case needed. We had a great rest.

The property overall was stunning ! We loved the reservoir/lake with water for a fresh swim and the very short walk to the black sand beach. The house was very clean and modern and the deck has a lovely view. The kitchen supplies and amenities were very good and thoughtful. The beach is not exactly swimmable but has plenty of caves and waterfalls to explore. The sunsets and star gazing from the property were a special treat ! The town nearby also has a four square to get all the food supplies we need to cook during the stay.

We would have appreciated a water Tap outside to help clean up sand from our feet/clothes before getting into the property. Toilet paper was a very thin quality (only single ply) and only had two rolls in each bathroom which ran out very quickly ! So keeping more stock of it would be appreciated. Tip: On Google maps , for some reason, the direction took us through a farmland but there is an easier route by road which the map did not show until we found it after reaching the property , it would be helpful if the easier road route is shown as a image on the listing so people can follow that :)
