You have your own room and bathroom, good location. Ilo, the cleaner lady is the best part of this place. She’s adorable, sweet, polite, taking care of you. Thank you Ilo

No duvet cover, no bed pad. Overall humidity in room and lots in bathroom, which smells. No natural light. Your window opens up to the lobby, if your curtain is open, everyone can see you and your room, so curtain is always closed. Kitchen facility is bad. Fire doesn’t work well, and can be dangerous. No proper cutlery. Showers water doesn’t drain well and stagnates. Can be little ants everywhere in room and bathroom. Sorry but local neighbors can be loud at night with music until very late. Cheap but not worth the price to me. Also boss is lacking hospitality.

My stay at Sunrise Surf was fantastic! It exceeded my expectations. The rooms were very comfortable and clean, and the first-floor patio was lovely. The location was perfect, and the staff was very attentive. I really appreciated having a hot and cold drinking water dispenser, which was a big plus since it’s hard to find in the area and you usually have to buy bottled water yourself. Overall, I highly recommend it!

Iluh was so lovely and always made my room so clean and smart. Intan, the owner, was really responsive on WhatsApp. Lovely and quiet down the side street. Clean room and bathroom.

Neighbouring dogs barking often (not sure that the guest house can do much about that). An observation and not so much a criticism: the property is down a side street, so the ground floor rooms can feel a little dark in the day due to the outside walls opposite and the outdoor shared space ceiling from the floor above. On top of this, I found I'd keep my room curtains mostly closed for privacy given people walk past in the communal space on the ground floor.

Great location, and amazing staff. I felt very welcomed, and the space created such a good social atmosphere. The wifi was really good, no issues. The room was cleaned daily.

I would have liked a fan instead of AC, and I prefer a thinner pillow it would have been nice if there was an option for different pillows (the ones you have are good quality, but it's too high for my neck, so it caused some discomfort)
