Lazy Fox Retreat

Peaceful. Great location. Great cabin. Great host. Only thing that would make this place better is if they trim the trees to have a view but life can’t be perfect and regardless a view the cabin was pretty close to perfect for the value.

No issues during stay.

Place was not cleaned prior to our arrival. Cleaning crew showed up after we arrived to clean, delaying our check in by 30+ minutes. The cleaning job was horrendous, there were cigarette stubs in the couch, beer cans under the bed, all the dishes were dirty in the kitchen, the shower on the main floor had separated from the wall and was leaking. The weather was over 85 degrees and the AC unit is locked so it’s hard to cool down the unit. There was construction next door and across the street, we were told there was absolutely no construction going on. It was terrible. Received partial credit of $125 for cleaning fee, which we paid $500 total for. Nothing for checking in late and having disruptions the entire stay, although promised otherwise.

It was nice and quiet and located close to everything.

Location was awesome! Close to all the things we came to experience!

Accommodations were in place to cook our holiday meal. Everything else was perfect as well. A++
