CARPE DIEM HOTEL

WOW. Everything! You can see that a lot of thought has been put in to the interior design, they have thought of every detail, everything is beautiful and warm and authentic! There’s a lovely inside private pool. We had such a great time! The hosts were the best, they helped us with anything we needed, from bus hours to reach the hotel to recommendations of wineries, daily hikes and places to dine! X I extremely recommend!❤️

A beautiful hotel with all the charm of an historical building and the comforts of modern design. Big rooms are a plus, as were the comfortable and artfully decorated common spaces. The two patios made for great space in which to hang out. Our host Gianandrea was very welcoming and helpful. Archanes is a charming town with excellent restaurants in the main town square. Carpe Diem was a perfect stay after a day of touring neighboring Knossos. The cool mountain breeze offered a nice contrast to the hot beaches. We will have to return for more exploring of this majestic countryside with rolling hills, olive trees, and trees grape vines.

Sehr zentral und ruhig gelegen im innerer Kern der Altstadt. Der Besitzer geht auf die Wünsche und Fragen der Gäste ein und ist sprachlich sehr versiert.

Κανεις δεν μλορει να ειναι προετοιμασμενος γι'αυτο που θα δει: καθε σου βημα και μια εκπληξη. Η απλοτητα της πολυτελειας, ειναι τελικα εφικτη. Η απανταχου και διαχυτη παρουσια του γηινου, σου αφαιρει αργα και στοργικα απο τις πλατες την κουραση του ταξιδιου. Η οικειοτητα του χωρου, κανει την προσαρμογη σου μια ακαριαια πραξη. Ο Gianandrea και η Ελενη, αφοπλιζουν την οποια επιφυλακτικοτητα σου με την μοναδικη, αυθεντικη, απλοτητά τους. Ειναι απλα, κομματι του ολου. Απο εκει και μετα, η επιλογη σου αναμεσα στο καταπληκτικο και το θαυμασιο, γινεται βασανιστικη. Τα δωματια, η σάλα, οι δυο μικροι παραδεισοι με τις καρποδεμενες κρεβατινες(παλιες κλιματαριες ) που οι ιδιοκτητες ονομαζουν βεραντες.... Με δυο λογια: ενα ψυχικο και πνευματικο καταφύγιο.
