Wow! Whittaker Mews, an absolutely stunning cottage! Found this gem and stayed here with my family from 5th-7th September 2025 whilst visiting Alton Towers. We were absolutely blown away! The cottage was immaculate! So cosy, warm an accommodating. Denise and Bernie had been amazing from the day we'd booked. Their communication was excellent, with all messages I sent being answered within 30 mins. I really didn't expect that. The cottage has been renovated to include top spec modcons. 2 spaces to park your cars. The kitchen had EVERYTHING! Air fryer, toaster, massive fridge freezer, the lot! We did not even have to buy milk, tea bags, washing up stuff or sundries as the cottage has it all. Complimentary snacks to boot! Denise and Bernie have thought about everything. The lounge was a dream. We settled in to watch Netflix after a long day. All bedrooms were spacious, and the beds so comfy. The bedroom in the attic was lovely, with a bonus ensuite. The little patio garden with solar lights out front topped it off. Lovely to sit out there in the evening with drinks. I could actually write a dissertation about this cottage. The location was perfect for us with a Spar, Premier shop, chippy and Indian within walking distance. There is a local pub too, The Red Lion but we didn't visit. We're in the process of figuring dates out for a longer stay next year. Bravo Denise and Bernie!
