Brand new feel. So clean and cosy. Home from home.

The property is beautifully presented, like a high-end renovation has taken place and you’re the first people inside. All rooms are well equipped, spotlessly clean with great furniture choices. It is like being in a home and not a rental. We were a group of 4 men and there was plenty of space for us all. The cottage is in a small, peaceful village. We visited the pub 100 yards away and were made very welcome. There is also a Fish and Chip shop and Indian restaurant in the village and close to the cottage.

There was nothing negative about our stay.

Brilliant property. Excellent communication, lovely gift left for us, spotlessly clean, everything you could possibly need nearby. Excellent option for those with young children.

Lovely place to stay for our short Alton Towers break. Well maintained and modern. Parking for 2 cars - which we needed. Great location. Good communication from hosts.

Denise and Bernie were great hosts, with very quick communication. They were very accommodating and even modified our booking to have one more person stay with us. The properly itself was very spacious, and looked exactly like the photos and description. It was very cosy and was perfect for my little bros birthday trip to Alton towers. I would highly recommend staying here as we all loved our stay with them!

It was a bit difficult to find the property as it doesn’t exist on maps but Denise and Bernie did message prior to the stay with clear instructions of how to get to the property if this happened so all was well in the end.

Whittaker Mews was exceptionally clean, beautifully decorated. Bernie & Denise were fantastic hosts, the property has everything you need, ideal for a family stay with enough rooms to have your own space. I wouldn’t hesitate in staying again or recommending. First class 👏🏻

Party of 5 stayed here in May 2024. Accommodation is easy to find thanks to the instructions from the owner. Parking for two cars if needed. Inside, the property is finished to a very high standard, in fact, it was the best appointed accommodation we have ever stayed in. Very clean, and the property has been modernised whilst maintaining it's charm. The only problem we had is that we wished we had booked to stay longer. We were visiting Alton Towers which was a 12 minute drive from the village. The location itself was perfect. A pretty village with a few shops, and places to eat and drink all within a few minutes walk. All in all, a great find and we will hopefully stay again when visiting the area.
