Khao Sok Palmview Resort

Such cute dogs!!! And the sweetest family. So helpful and attentive. Definitely recommending this place if you’re going to khao sok. They helped us with a trip to the lake and has many daytrips, treks and overnight stays to the national park!

Prachtig parkje tussen de palmbomen. De huisjes zijn eenvoudig, maar wat je nodig hebt is er. Het lijkt afgelegen te liggen, maar het pad naar de hoofdweg scheelt je (lopend) heel veel tijd. Prima contact met de eigenaar Kong en zijn vrouw (denk ik), die excursies regelde evenals de transfer van en naar Surat Thani, alles perfect voor elkaar. Hoewel je keurig geïnformeerd wordt wat je nodig hebt voor de excursies, kunnen vergeten zaken als zaklampjes, wetbags en badhanddoeken ter plekke geleend worden. Geweldige service.

Airco mist, maar dat vind je in weinig accommodaties in Khao Sok.

A very affordable option for our stay in Khao Sok the night before the national park. Staff were very happy to accommodate us in upgrading to a lighter room with air conditioning as the first room we were given was very dark with only a fan which meant the room was very warm. Staff were very welcoming upon arrival and sat us down with water and provided us with all the information we needed.

The shortcut shown to us to reach the main town, was through the jungle. Although only a short walk, at night time this was very dark and hard to see the ground ahead of you. This could be lit in places to make the walk easier, or even signposted to make finding your way back to the accommodation easier.

Very cute location, we really felt like we were living in the jungle. The monkeys near our bungalow were such a unique experience for us.

The only downside was no ac.

Fantastic stay. The owners/staff are lovely, kind people who answered all our questions (we have bought an excursion to the lake). The location of the huts is incredible, very close to the main village (walk to the main road takes about 5 mins - that's the shortcut) but surrounded with palm trees and serenity. Very comfy, clean and just simply preety rooms. Hihgly recommend. Due to taxi drivers not allowing grab/bolt, we decided to walk (i disagree with winding prices up for a 7 min drive...) and next time we would just use the shortcut (like on google maps, the shortest way, not the way that it's leading you). I also highly recommend the Cheow Lan lake trips they are offering. We picked a full day excursion and it was amazing.

Très bien situé pour faire plein d excursions. Kong est très accueillante , bienveillante et vous aide à organiser plein d' activités. Elle est vraiment incroyable et très réactive. Elle m a aussi aidé à retrouver mon passeport que j' avais égaré.
