The walk up the hill and stairs as we couldn’t get a cab

The room was clean and comfortable, although did not like the a joining room style as I could my neighbours much too easily. Sound carried easily from neighbours between the thin door on top of the outside construction and the beach noise.

We were not able to get the entire stay of our booking as things were double booked, so we only stayed for 4 nights and had to move elsewhere. And then come our check out which was for 12:00, we brought our bags down to the front desk as we were finished in the room around 10:30, to let maids clean and be considerate. As we planned to enjoy the remainder of the time before check out at the pool until 12:00. They cut my partners wristband off while I was at the pool and came up with scissors to take my band, I was firm in saying no we will leave at 12:00 but did not enjoy being treated like a criminal. It was embarrassing. Next time I’ll leave our bags in our room until 12:00 so we can stay until check out and not consider their time since they did not consider ours and what we had paid for. They tried to sell a day pass to my partner instead of letting us finish the last hour and half of our time. They advertise it as a boutique resort- which in fact the pool club and other facilities are shared by multiple resorts in the same company. I wouldn’t consider that a boutique style, unless you just stick to the small pool and single restaurant.

The property is fantastic! Our stay began with such a warm check in and the lovely AMADO who helped us to our rooms and was a delight to meet everyday! He is amazing! The room was just stunning and the views, wow! Breakfast was quite good, and the dinner was good as well! Dinner menu didn't change for the five nights we were there... Drinks are a hit or miss.. one of the bartenders at the beach bar spoilt us with amazing cocktails! Other cocktails were average but just fine! Lunch is very average - buffet style. The housekeeping was fantastic as well!

What we really didn't like is, that the big hotel pool was open to the public if they bought a day pass. For the price a hotel guest pays, the swimming pool should be exclusive to the guests..this is what other other hotel guests felt as well! The beach is not private either... We felt if you didn't tip the servers every time you didn't get the same treatment as those who did....

Great location and modern

The hotel is nice, all the workers are excellent, with good service in the restaurant. The lady that clean our room was perfect every day I don't think that the value of the money paid for all-inclusive food is not was what I was expecting. I thought we would have some Oaxacan traditional real food, but the breakfast was all right, and the coffee was just water. I like my coffee strong, I think they can afored a expresso machine, the dinner its the same dishes every night, the only good thing it was the ribeye one night. I asked for a different type of meat, and it was the ribeye with some pure just on top of it. The same meat has no flavor . The beach in the pictures looks so nice empty if youre imagine youre self on the beach, just relax, this place is not for you. We can't even walk with all the people was on the beach, and I'm ok with the people being on the beach i just i wish I knew overall was ok not my type of vacations

Beautiful hotel , beds very comfortable. The walls are a little thin bring ear plugs . I would stay there again
