Mill Park Stay Room ONLY with use of kitchen & bathroom

Lovely place, with a comfortable room and lots of toiletries provided. The host also offered us breakfast, and tea and coffee when we arrived.

The house did not have a sign so we struggled to find it, but we called the host and they helped us find it straight away.

At the time of booking, the property was simply named Drumalief. The location was ideal and the photos gave an impression of a country B&B. A week before staying, it was altered to Drumalief Home Stay. They've changed it again since we stayed. On arrival we discovered it was a small mid-terrace house and we had apparently booked the spare room. There is no "private entrance" as claimed. The bedroom was not to our liking, in need of redecoration, not clean, and a cupboard with door that wouldn't close, and filled with owners things. Walls were thin so we could hear everything and presumably be heard too. Floors creaked excessively throughout. Bathroom was filled with owners things and not clean. We were so embarrassed that we stayed out as much as possible, and left without saying goodbye. After leaving we contacted Booking.com as we felt the property details on their website were misleading. It was at this point we discovered that booking properties on their website is effectively a contract between us and owner, and booking.com don't get involved with complaints. We will be wiser next time. Certainly for this property there needs to be much greater clarity about what they are offering, an external photo of the property, and more accurate photos of the room and bathroom.

Easiest place to find, everything was well signposted and the houses were numbered, a blessed relief. Parking area was spacious, it was just a very short stroll to the house. Martina was very welcoming, showed me all the facilities, with plenty of items to make the stay comfortable. The bed was wonderful, cosy and comfy, just like mine at home. A very comfortable stay.

Awesome communication prior to arrival and info on good place to eat. Lovely welcome and lovely room with super comfortable bed. We really enjoyed our breakfast and would definitely come again. Thank you both.
