The location of this bungalow is a real strength. It’s well placed in Mount Maunganui, with easy access to local shops, cafés, the beach and other attractions, making it a convenient base for exploring the area but a car is needed to get to most attractions. The hosts were excellent with good communication and very helpful, they even offered early and late checkout. The property itself is a two-bedroom bungalow that is clean, comfortable and functional. It has everything you need for a short stay and works well as a practical place to sleep and relax after a day out. The beds were comfortable and the overall cleanliness was good. That said, the presentation is fairly basic. While nothing is missing, it does feel more utilitarian than homely, and some guests may find it lacks the warmth or character that makes a place feel especially welcoming. Overall, it’s a solid, comfortable option in a very good location — ideal if you prioritise convenience and cleanliness over style or ambience.
