Das Haus und vor allem der Garten sind großartig! So gemütlich! Das Haus ist ein altes griechisches, vollständig renoviertes Haus und hat daher viel Flair. Sonne und Schatten im Garten in richtiger Dosierung, durch einen großen Baum und Bambussonnenschutz. Über die schmale Straße ein kleiner Strand, perfekt um vor dem Frühstück eine Runde im Meer zu schwimmen. Küche hatte für uns alles, was notwendig ist, aber da ein paar sehr gute und günstige Tavernen fußläufig zu erreichen sind, haben wir uns die Mühe gespart. Keratokambos ist ein kleines Dorf, man lebt gemütlich und ist doch nicht in der Einöde. Wer sich Shops und Flaniermeile erwartet, ist hier definitiv falsch. Wer ein bisschen griechisches Lebensgefühl atmen will, auf jeden Fall richtig. Der Vermieter ist sehr liebenswürdig und bemüht, man ist in guten Händen. Was soll ich noch sagen, für uns war es eine der schönsten Unterkünfte auf Kreta bisher.

Blick auf das Meer.. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants nah dran..wir durften früher einchecken und der Vermieter war freundlich..

Wir haben die Bewertungen gelesen und dachten das es dort auch so ist aber leider gab es viele Mängel. Wir hatten vorher in den Bergen Kretas eine Unterkunft und wollten entspannte Tage noch am Meer verbringen. Leider gibt es vor der Unterkunft eine Straße die stark befahren ist und man draußen nicht essen kann..weiterhin ist vor der Unterkunft ein Parkplatz für das Café was nah dran ist und auch da gut besucht mit Autos ist. Das Bad und die Küche besonders der Abwaschbereich muss unbedingt erneuert werden. Wer absolute Ruhe zum schlafen braucht, sollte Ohrstöpsel mitnehmen, da die männlichen Haushühner morgens ab 04.00 Uhr Krähen. Der Stand war auch nicht so toll..geht man 1km weiter hat man einen großen tollen Strand.Leider ist es die Realität und das ist unsere erste unschöne Bewertung.

Cozy house, comfy beds, equipped well and great peaceful location. Felt rustic and traditionally Greek. The owner really looked after us.

Bathroom needs a little attention i.e. tiles and taps needed descaling. However this is the only thing that needs looking at. Otherwise happy with everything else.

You can stop looking for other options, you will not find a better and cuter house, so close to the sea.

We had a fantastic stay at this house with our family! The location is perfect — just a short walk to the sea, with stunning beaches nearby and cozy little cafés all around. The water was absolutely beautiful, and the whole area had such a relaxing and welcoming vibe. Everything was just great — we truly enjoyed every moment of our vacation here. I’ll definitely be recommending this place to friends and family, and we’re already looking forward to coming back!

The location is excellent so close to the sea and close to the center. The villa was well equipped and the terrace was Amaizing. The host was very nice, friendly and approachable.

We had a wonderful stay in Keratokampos. You can hear the waves of the sea from your bed and have direct seaview from the terrace/door from the flat. The kitchen has everything you need. A perfect place to relax and enjoy the small villages and nature around. There are plenty tavernas to eat and a little supermarket also. The host was really friendly and helped us with everything we needed. Also the people in the village are so nice. The only thing you should keep in mind is that there are no doors to the 2 bedrooms, it's an open space. Thank you very much we would come again!
