Apple-tree lodge

Apple tree lodge is a beautiful open planned accommodation. Situated in the Main property's beautiful sculptured garden's. It's modern stylish decor is very pleasant. It is very well equipped, fully operational kitchen. Shower room is adequate. furnishings are of a high standard. It has it's own privacy. Solar lights provide enough light to walk to your vehicle which is located at the property's entrance. Electric gate's provide security to both yourselves and your property.

apartment would benefit having a guest review book as it's difficult to put a grumble on this review but I'm quite disabled with a spine injury and wasn't comfortable sitting on the beautiful sofa, apartment would benefit having a small high backed chair.

Everything, very comfortable, lots of natural day light, very nicely decorated, loved the garden and the outside seating area. It’s been the best stay in a long time, it absolutely exceeded my expectations, very warm welcoming from Dave and felt at home. Looking forward to go back!

The lodge was beautiful. I felt so comfortable and welcome here. All of the amenities were of a very high standard. Much thought has been put into this lodge, both in terms of aesthetics and functionality. The location was perfect—only a 15-minute drive to the town centre.

Due to the structure and time of year, I visited, the weather was poor, and the rain was relentless at times. So the rain was very loud on the roof. But the host did provide earplugs to combat this. So, if you are sensitive to noise, please be mindful of this.

A lovely little place, Dave was so helpful. The bed was very comfy! Got everything you could possibly need.

The place is very well located, very comfortable and modern, with everything you need, Dave the host, always very friendly and willing to help with whatever is needed

The room was perfect, very nicely decorated and equipped with everything you could possibly need for a few nights away, and was spotlessly clean! Dave was GREAT, we actually arrived a bit early so he invited into his house for a coffee and then recommended some places for us to visit, organised us a taxi back for the evening and even gave us a lift into town! Highly recommend!

What a hidden little gem! Hosts Danusha and Dave are very welcoming and offered great local advice and showed us around the lodge. Apple-tree lodge is very comfy with fantastic decor and all you need for a stay. It is ideally located for easy access to the Quantocks and the town of Taunton and wider Somerset. Highly recommend….

Arriving at the place, the owner came out of his way to see us and drop off the keys, along with showing us around which we appreciated and they were very welcoming. The property itself was lovely, a lot of nature all around and the scenery at night was breathtaking. A shop right outside the place and a 30 minute walk to town. The place itself was cosy with a lot of appliances which made the stay itself enjoyable. Best sleep I’ve had in a while. Worth every penny.

This is an extremely well-appointed, comfortable and unusual place to rest one's head, escape for a weekend 'à deux', visit friends nearby ( as I was ), or to tour the Quantocks and surrounding countryside. In a more comfortable bed I have not slept ! It is quite secluded, the garden view is wonderful, and lends itself to coffee and croissants on the terrace outside. Dave and Danusha are charming hosts - quite unobtrusive but a text/call away if any help is needed.

The bathroom was a weeny bit of a tight squeeze but everything inside it worked perfectly and added to the general atmosphere of relaxation.
