Pues tengo que decir que el recibimiento fue precioso, ni en nuestros mejores sueños..❤️Me encantó el desierto.. sus dunas,su cielo estrellado.. las hogueras que se hacían por la noche con la música y el baile, los viajes en 4x4 una pasada!! El paseo en camello es espectacular.. confort, diversión.. lo tienes todo !! El personal que trabaja allí de 10👌🏻🥰, super atentos a todo y muy serviciales !! La comida muy rica y todo muy limpio, las habitaciones son preciosas..y el campamento en general es súper bonito!!😍 Recomendable 100% volveré sin duda alguna a ese campamento!! ❤️❤️❤️

We had an amazing experience at Camp Sakura! The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The camp is beautifully designed, very clean, and located in a perfect spot in the dunes. The activities were unforgettable — camel ride, sunset views, traditional music, and delicious dinner. The atmosphere was peaceful and authentic, and we felt very comfortable during our stay. We highly recommend Camp Sakura Desert Dream to anyone visiting Merzouga. Das Camp ist etwa eine 15-minütige Autofahrt von Merzouga entfernt. Die Zelte sind wunderschön und sehr sauber. Das ganze Camp ist toll angelegt mit vielen Sitzmöglichkeiten und nachts toll beleuchtet. Das gesamte Team ist sehr freundlich und stets gut gelaunt. Die Absprachen mit Salah im Vorfeld liefen problemlos und auch während und nach unserem Aufenthalt war er für uns da und organisierte Aktivitäten für uns. Selbst eine offroad-Moped-Tour hat er, obwohl es sehr kurzfristig war, arrangieren können.

Einzig der Preis für das Abendessen (wir sind Vegetarier) war mit 40€ schon sehr hoch, zumal das Gebotene dem nicht gerecht wurde.

We really enjoyed our stay! Everything was great - the room was comfortable and the service was excellent. We also booked a camel ride and a jeep tour, and both experiences were perfectly organized and right on time. It’s a bit more expensive than other camps, but definitely worth it! Highly recommend!

This is a beautiful and peaceful camp with only 8 tents, so it’s very quiet — perfect for stargazing at night. The tents are neat, clean, and very comfortable. The beds are spacious, and you’ll have both hot and cold water. There’s a big tent where breakfast and dinner are served. The food is delicious, and the atmosphere is cozy. Salah is super friendly and kind. He told us many interesting things about the local culture and even showed us a beautiful place to explore. Bonus: if you ask him, he might let you try driving his car on the sand dunes — such a fun experience! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed. They served us a cold drink with wafers and peanuts, which was a lovely touch. Said always checked to see if we needed anything and made sure we were comfortable. Every night, they play traditional music, and it’s a great time to relax. You can also book extra activities like a camel ride at sunset or sunrise, a quad bike ride, or a 4x4 desert tour. The best things about this camp are the amazing cleanliness, the cozy and comfy tents, and the warm hospitality. Highly recommended!

It can get warm inside the tents during spring and summer, but you can enjoy other activities like swimming at Residence Touristique Merzouga — just ask the staff, and they’ll arrange it for you. As a suggestion, it would be great to add a large fan with water spray to keep the tents cooler, especially on days when there’s no wind in the desert.
