ALEXANDRA HOME for foreign tourists only

We had a beautiful 3 night stay in Alexandra's Home. It's only 5min with TukTuk from Gampola Town in a quiet area. Surrounded by nature, close to Ambuluwawa Tower and a beautiful lake nearby. The room was very comfortable and very nice bathroom, everything super clean! Lovely breakfast each morning and Alexandra and her family are very nice and friendly people, they make you feel like home❤️🌞 We would always come back and can highly recommend this place to everyone!!

Lovely family and beautiful home, we arrived to a lovely cup of tea which was a nice touch. Incredible dinner and breakfast made by the lovely owner, everything was amazing. She even showed us some old memorabilia from the family history which was super interesting. Hot shower and comfortable bed. What more could you want!?

Nothing, it was all perfect.

We had a wonderful time with Alexandra and her husband. They were very friendly and welcoming, and the food was excellent. The rooms were clean and cozy. This accommodation is the perfect starting point for visiting the Ambuluwawa Tower. After a two-hour hike, we reached the top, but it can also be accessed easily by TukTuk or car. The interaction with our hosts was open and uncomplicated, and they shared many interesting stories and facts about Sri Lanka. We also had the opportunity to pick our own soursop and pepper in their garden. We can highly recommend this place and would gladly stay here again!

This was a great location close by the tower we were visiting with an amazing host. It is nice clean and comfortable for our short stay. My wife decided to stay here because they have a shower separate from the toilet and she always slips in the wet rooms. The host gave us a lot of local recommendations for food and other activities and took the time out of her day to ensure we were comfortable on our stay. She even provided breakfast for us for our stay! I highly recommend this host!
