We were a group of students traveling together, looking for the cheapest available apartment, and therefore, we didn’t arrive with high expectations. We weren’t particularly disappointed to find that the promised pool didn’t exist, the Wi-Fi didn’t work, there was no hot water, and a few other details didn’t match the description on Booking.com. Given the low price, all of this wouldn’t have been a major issue for us. However, the host’s behavior towards us was absolutely unacceptable. I frequently book accommodations through Booking.com, but I’ve never experienced anything like this. A few days before our arrival, the host sent me a question about organizational matters via chat. When I didn’t respond within two hours — during which, to be fair, I hadn’t even read the message — he bombarded me with “???”. Yet, when I later contacted him about an issue with the accommodation and asked for his help, he didn’t respond at all and remained unreachable for the entirety of our stay.
IEWe had a really pleasant stay in Riad Aya. Riad is beautiful and well maintained as shown in the pictures, They have AC in every room. The Riad is in a well gated community which is secure and quiet at night for a good sleep. They have couple of restaurants and shops in the centre of estate which is in a minute walk which has everything you need. The swimming pool was also clean and secured where our kids had a great time. The place is close to old city Medina where you can just walk or you can also get taxis just at the door of the estate. Thanks a lot to Amina who made us feel home and came early in the morning when the water heater ran out of gas and got it changed quickly. She also arranged us taxi early in the morning to airport as well.

The Security was too rude. One of the showers was not working and the water was not warm.
