Casa Spazio Zero

The home is on the edge of Cantagrillo with little traffic. It is in the heart of cycling country. The town is out of the way, small, but has everything one needs - grocery store, restaurants, pastry shop, Gelateria, weekly street market. etc. The owner was super attentive and responsive (Each time we saw the owner, we were asked if everything was ok or if we needed anything).

If you love the view of a scrap heap and the noise, and smell, of a thermoplastic molding factory during daytime, then this is the place to be. You can enjoy these sounds and smell all day while standing on the balcony, there are no outdoor chairs, or while sitting in the shared garden. The apartment itself is okay and the host is friendly, it's a pity that she only speaks Italian, which makes it hard to communicate.

We had the bad luck that Wifi was not working, combined with a bad reception of cell phone data, and a TV with only Italian channels. Therefore you have to bring your own entertainment for the time you are in the apartment, there is not much included in the house. The host was, unfortunately, not willing to provide any compensation for the Wifi outage, or for the annoying noise ( while the advertisement stated " a shared garden for a peaceful and rejuvenating experience". Not even a bottle of wine or so was given to ease the pain a little. For me it was not worth it's price and , if I were you, would think twice before renting this apartment.
