Corfu Sunset Glow-Katherina Maisonette

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this holiday home! The house itself is large and very comfortable, boasting a modern look. Everything was spotless clean, and the beds were extremely comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep. The air conditioning in every room was a blessing, especially during the warm nights. The anti-insect nets on windows and balcony doors were a thoughtful touch that made our stay even more pleasant. The house is fully equipped with everything you might need: towels, bed linen, an iron, and a dryer. The kitchen is fully equipped too, perfect for those who wish to cook their own meals, with all appliances looking brand new. The washing machine was a convenient addition, and the spacious terrace and balconies in each bedroom were delightful spots to relax. The beautiful garden, complete with BBQ facilities, added to the charm of the property. Location-wise, this home is perfect. It’s only 5 km from Corfu Old Town, about a 10-12 minute drive, yet it feels like a countryside retreat, calm and quiet, far from the hustle and bustle of traffic. The beaches on the west side of the island are just a 20-minute drive away. A grocery store and a restaurant are conveniently located within a 5-minute walk. The hosts (Georgia and her Husband) were incredibly attentive and helpful. Despite our late arrival due to a flight delay, they waited for us without any issue. We were warmly welcomed with a goodie basket filled with local treats, and we found cold water, beer, and products in the fridge to make sandwiches. This thoughtful gesture was a lifesaver as the shops were already closed. We had a lovely stay here and felt completely at home. We can’t recommend this place more highly.
