Woodland Hot Tub Retreat

Visited as a couple for a little break over the weekend! Glad to say we will be returning, place was clean, tidy with condiments included and a box of biscuits on arrival was very thoughtful.. also easy to contact owners through messages with any questions I had

Very cosy and modern

Cleanliness, door into lodge difficult to open and close and hot tub would benefit from a canopy

I have to say, hot tube in the woods is the highlight for kids.kitchen and bathroom seems quite new refurbished, good location.

Just one suggestion is to change the bedding in the main bedroom, the duvet cover is dropping fibres everywhere.

We didn't like the hot hub as it wasn't private And the trees blew all the pines into the tub whilst in it.

Living area was very comfortable and decking area was nice. Bathroom facilities were very good. Very good info left by hosts on where to go and how far etc.

Kitchen cupboards weren't clean, no table in the living room to put drinks on. Generally wasn't clean throughout and outside. Flys just made enjoying the hotub harder. Lights on outside of caravan didn't work so couldn't sit out late.

We loved the whole lodge! The living room and kitchen was beautifully decorated with a really comfortable sofa and large tv! The bathroom was also decorated really nicely with a bath & a shower! We were so happy there was a hot tub outside and where the lodge is located it’s right in the corner away from everyone else and you can see all the forest! Loved that the Decking outside was secured off with a fence and gate so we could let our two dogs roam free. Will definitely be back!

Very clean and comfortable. Quiet corner with plenty of wildlife to enjoy watching.

When returning to the property it always smelt of damp, but it dissipate fairly quickly once windows were opened. The paving slabs to the hot tub could do with improving, weed killing etc.

Good parts- The property was okay it was cosy and warming , the hot tub was lovely just could do with a shelter above. Enjoyed the stay kitchen was lovely and so was the lounge area. Bed was also comfy but was very squeaky Good part was that the manager said there are plans of putting restaurant onsite which will be nice for the owners.

Bad parts- The doors where abit difficult to open may need altering my partner had to get me to open / close them , damage to the bay window tape had been used to stick it together above the bay window part. The site had no shop or restaurant as it closed down there is a bar 20 minute walk but doesn’t open till 4pm need to drive or come with plenty stock to cook.
