Riad Villa Amood

From arrival we had a wonderful greeting and great service throughout our 2 night stay. The villa is stylish and comfortable. Likewise the pool is lovely and relaxing and has comfortable sun beds. The food is both flavoursome and imaginative. The host and her staff were there to assist with our every needs and their presence was efficient yet unobtrusive. This was a beautiful place to stay and unwind or indulge in the desert activities. We would love to go back again to this rather special place.

Be aware that nature could take its course as we experienced 2 sand storms. The hotel responded and closed the pool, cleaned the area and reopened as quickly as possible but if you are there for 1 night you may miss the opportunity to relax or dine by the pool which was a highlight for us.

Traumhaft schön und Entspannung pur vor dem Wüstentrip. Unglaublich guter Service. Jeder Wunsch wird einem erfüllt. Das Essen ist extrem lecker und kommt in mehren Gängen. Der Koch hat es wirklich drauf. Das Riad ist eine Oase direkt vor der Sahara. Wir haben es als Zwischenstopp und nach der landen Fahrt von Marakesch zur Erholung genutzt. Wir hatten das Glück die einzigen Gäste zu sein und haben uns extrem wohlgefühlt.

The pool area is absolutely wonderful and so relaxing. The staff were so attentive and made us feel so comfortable and looked after. Our favourite part though was the food, which was absolutely spectacular… very impressed! The room was also beautiful and the bed very comfortable

Riad Villa Amood was truly a spectacular experience. Abdullah was an exceptionally attentive host and anticipated our every need. Though rather unassuming from the outside, a veritable oasis unfolds once you step through the gate. The pool is sensational and the relaxation area invites you to linger and daydream! The food definitely deserves a special mention; in the evening, we were served a truly spectacular six-course meal, with each course surpassing the last. Rarely in our lives have we ever eaten as well as we did at Villa Amood; every dish was a work of art! From the flavour to the presentation, right through to Abdullah’s hospitality, it was perfection. Hamsa (I hope I’m remembering correctly) is a true master in the kitchen. The rooms were straight out of One Thousand and One Nights, with spectacular views of the dunes. Unfortunately, we’d only planned one night on our trip, but we’ll definitely be back! Thank you so much for making our stay so magical!
