Ponta Mar Resort

It was right on the beach...

Its a fantastic hotel for a family group, it has a family sized swimming pool in the courtyard, where you can also have drinks and a light meal. The location is central, not far from downtown, but the hourly shuttle bus to the Waterfront Mall and Shopping area makes everything verybsafe and easy. At arrival we had a particularly good reception and despite arriving at 9.30 am we had a room with a good view by 10.15 and were helped throughout by Veronica who was professional, friendly and above all had our comfort foremost in her mind. The little things like sweets in the lobby every afternoon at 4pm and a very decent and varied brunch at a reasonable price were another plus.

If you want to to do training laps in the pool its not that big. Its got a deep end and a good shallow end though for smaller kids. The gym is a bit limited in choice of equipment so at busy times can't do all that much.8
