We had the most wonderful 2 week stay @ Ponta Mar! The staff were wonderful! The location is incredible and literally on the beach with the most perfect views! Would highly recommend Ponta Mar!! Will be back for sure! Appreciated the kind gesture of suprise snacks from the restuarant "on the house" on our last day there! Restaurant on site also very good!

would be nice to have a couch or something more comfy to sit on BUT not essential! My husband is 80 so the hard chairs he found slightly uncomfy! The pool area deck definitely needs some attention before somebody gets hurt falling through it! The umbrella's need fixing as we were told they're broken but it would be nice to have shade around the pool! A flipfile in the rooms with info on what to do around Ponta would be a nice touch with the wifi code etc. Things like what's Also maybe rules for the resort -- like music/consideraton to other guests etc -- the first weekend we had people partying below us until 3am and started again 6am with very loud music etc wheras normally that shouldn't be allowed after 9 or 10pm -- maybe being a holiday place allow until midnight? Then the units -- definitely could do with more shelving and/or even hooks on doors and walls to hang things. Not being critical at all as loved every minute of our stay BUT these few things would definitely make it that more comfortable and so please take this as constructive criticism. (I run an airbnb on booking.com so appreciate when guests tell me where i could improve)

Place needs a major upgrade. Looks terrible on the outside. Scary infact

this was our second time visiting Ponta Mar. from the first visit in Aug 2024, we knew that this will be our favourite go to place in Mozambique. The place is lovely, right in the heart of everything, shops, vendors, the beach, atm, activities. you wont do much traveling to all these areas. everything is in walking distance. Bonus, they have upgraded their wifi, which is absolutely amazing!!! I do wish they could supply visitors with 2 toilet paper rolls and a microwave is always a good idea in the rooms all in all Ponta Mar is the best!! Highly Recommended

Would've loved a microwave in the room and dinner plates and an iron. Having to go to reception to request an iron is not ideal, especially when one is too tired to go out in the heat.
