Really enjoyed staying at the flat in La Spezia. We used it as a base camp to travel to some unesco walks and Lido Sport beaches, so we were unaware of what La Spezia itself was like. After a few days, we became very happy with La Spezia. La Spezia city itself was full of energy and fun along with some great local pastries only a short 1min walk from the flat, a very good vibe providing access to local areas. Good chill space for us and I would encourage many other guests to visit it too, certainly a lot calmer than Portovenere. If you want to get to some beautiful places in this region, use the buses and then your legs in our opinion, avoid the ferries for sure!
