There is a lot of space. The owner and his son seemed very nice. No electricity meant no way to charge phones so our teenagers actually had to pay attention to us and be in the moment. Sometimes the bad travel experiences turn out to be the most memorable so while I can't recommend wholeheartedly, I don't regret booking here as our family had a highly memorable experience (sleeping back to back to keep warm on rock hard beds in complete darkness).

The electricity was out for 17 of the 18 hours we were there. No power = no heat = no wifi = no way to charge our phones/cameras. We slept in the cold and the darkness and when we left in the morning there was still no electricity. There was only one small towel for showering, so consider bringing your own towels and perhaps candles/flashlight, backup battery pack for your phone and the ability to tolerate a very stinky smell in the bathroom.
