Beds were small. Just one bathroom so good only a small family.

Very cute rental and great garden!

A few more towels for the beach would have been nice. Otherwise great stay!

Modern nice and spacious place. Well equipped but no dishwasher and no microwave (just to be aware)

Entry door is a nightmare. Especially at night it can take 2-3 minutes to get in. There are plastic curtains around a bath tap that turn a very nice and stylish bathroom into an ugly experience when showering.

This newly renovated house in the jungle has an expansive yard and is in a beautiful setting. Everything worked. There was good communication from hosts. The birds erupt into a cacophony at night adding to the magic of the experience. There's no TV. Kids had a blast catching lizards in the meticulously landscaped garden.

NOTE: Civilization is not close by. The nearest store is a 10-15 min drive away and has very basic (and pricey) provisions. So stock up in Pahoa! That's not a dig. Just a good fact to know ahead of time.

I like the nice scenery of the garden and how weather changes making it feel like sometimes in a rainforest or not, a total different experience to me and my family.

I didn't like the garbage can covering the trash that's on the neighbors property and due to their reasons I see it have not been bothered to be moved and it staying in one area for 6 months. I believe it should be cleaned up and the owner be more reasonable and not be disrespectful to the neighbors. I didn't like the shower foundation the plastic wrap around me was sticking and it could have been better if it was on one side only. Also make sure you install a fan sooner because a quick warm 5 minute shower creates then entire shower environment foggy. If you were to shower for 20 minutes you wouldn't be able to see the exit.
