Lovely views, access to many walks behind the accommodation. Quiet. Host very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Excellent communication.

Pet friendly so really nice to have the dogs with us. They enjoyed the daily walks! Also appreciated the quick and informative communication from Anne the host

So peaceful and quiet! The cottage is simple but well equipped, with everything we needed. The Jetmaster fireplace is great. The location is fantastic- right at the top of Bergview Estate, with direct access to the reserve and walking trails from the garden. Drakensberg Sun Hotel is also very accessible. Anne was a fantastic host- extremely responsive to any queries.

The cottage is rather open to the road, with not much privacy when sitting on the verandah or braaing, but that being said, being at the top end of the Estate, there was not too much passing traffic. There is no undercover parking, which can be a concern with summer storms/hail.

The peace and quiet. Breathtaking views.

Superb location

Not ideal for 8 adults as there are only 3 dbl rooms. 2 adults used the bunk bed room - but we made it work :).
