Belfast Holiday Home Ormeau Park

Lovely little home, in walking distance of the city centre.

Beds weren't the most comfortable and had a random knock at the door at 2am one night.

It was literally like a home from home. Clean, tidy, comfortable with all amenities like very nice utensils and crockery, fridge freezer, kettle and toaster, showergel and shampoo provided in the bathroom. The lounge, kitchen and bedrooms were very modern. It was located a stones throw away from a very large and amazing park where people were seen to be doing yoga, jogging or socialising. If you drove you could park directly outside with no parking restrictions.

There wasn’t anything not to like about this house.

Location ideal for concert at Ormeau park... just off th main road ... personally couldn't hear th traffic at night but th boy could. Decor tasteful Lovely minimalistic spacious front bedroom The property is about 5 miles from th city airport. We didn't attempt a bus throughout our stay. We used a taxi on th way to th property which cost £12 but if we'd have known that Ubers were available from walking distance of th airport we'd have used the uber on th way to property too. During our stay we ate at an amazing Thai takeaway called Thai House approx 10 minute walk away.. it is a takeaway but they had a table inside that could seat 8 people max. Highly recommended.. We also ate at a very delightful Italian on th other side of Ormeau park.. (beautiful walk through th park) Nico's pasta & pizza.. delicious pizzas in a fabulous looking restaurant.

We couldn't secure th front door on arriving at th premises but was rectified that day Requested a hairdryer which was swiftly bought round! Microwave was broken so maybe that needs to be taken from th available list. Mattress was awful - thin & cheap in both rooms. we both agreed that 3 nights was long enough on that bed. Overpowering smell of air fresheners on arrival but realised that would be due to th plumbing at th property as everytime we had a shower the yard would flood.

House is beautifully furnished, positioned right beside Ormeau park and a short distance from the city centre.

The property was clean, comfortable and in a great location, just across from Ormeau Embankment. The owners are easy to contact and quick to respond to any queries.
