We got to check in 15 minutes early

The customer service was awful. We asked what the wifi was when we first checked in, the response "I already told you" which was false and the person checking us in couldn't even find it. We paid with the google conversion (not the sell/buy rate but the in-between) and the host demanded we pay more so they could convert the local currency into a foreign currency without losing out. We would have loved to pay in USD as we had it on us but we were never told. When requested our money back, they said they no longer had it and would not leave the apartment without saying they would get the money now or we should contact them when they can come pick it up. We have lived out of booking.com rooms for years now and never had such awful customer service. We paid them the extra after realizing that their other staff would have to pay it and were afraid of more retaliation. They had a half filled hand soap for the conditioner, shampoo and body wash combo that they advertised as having. The bed was threadbare and uncomfortable. Walls are so thin you are part of some neighbors phone conversation during dinner. The location is far from center but that is listed so don't be surprised. One plug missing, one plug hanging out of the wall. For the price and lack of respect from host, the quality should have been better.
