The room was clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. The sevice was exceptional as well. Would definitely send a friend there. I highly recommend this for anyone visiting altos del maria.

Absolutely wonderful experience. Firstly, the hostess was the best we've ever encountered. She was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and made us feel right at home throughout our stay. The breakfast provided was simply outstanding, delicious spread of fresh fruits, pastries, and a variety of hot dishes. The attention to detail and the quality of the food were exceptional, leaving us energized and ready to start our day. The location of the villa was perfect. It offered the best of both worlds - a serene and peaceful environment surrounded by breathtaking mountain views and a beautiful garden!! When it came to leisure time, the villa had it all. We enjoyed lounging by the pool, taking leisurely walks in the garden. Lastly, and most importantly, seeing my wife's happy face throughout our stay was priceless. The combination of the fantastic hostess, delicious breakfast, stunning location, and leisurely activities made our time at the Magic place truly unforgettable. We highly recommend it to couples looking for a relaxing and luxurious getaway.

Beautiful view of the surrounding rainforests and the canyon. There is a nice waterfall a short walk from the room. The bed is comfortable, and the room, while a little cozy, is well appointed. There were snacks in the room in case you get a rainy night like we did and decide to stay in instead of going out to eat for dinner. Parking nearby. Very peaceful and quiet. Altos Del Maria does not have any hotels so, if you want to see it, this is a good option. Altos Del Maria is surrounded by a fence and has a lot of security so the homes don't have bars on the windows like so many places in Central America. My traveling partner thought it was too remote (it is 2 to 2.5 hours from Panama City, a place I don't care for), but I loved not hearing traffic and experiencing nature in an agreeable setting. Hostess is very nice and helpful. I would return.

The breakfast was OK. It was served on a small tray outside the room (it would be better served in the main house). The temperature of the hot water kept changing during my shower (not a problem if you take a cold shower). They don't accept a credit card so I had to scrap together enough money to pay for the night. I hope that they remedy these issues so that I can say everything was perfect the next time I visit.

Awesome location and a top spot for a nice mountainous view surrounded by nature and wildlife.
