"Fantastic stay at the AMAZING Boat House"

Have been travelling a lot all over the world - this is one of the best private locations we've ever been! The Boat House is amazing, a real masterpiece - location just close to the long white and wild beach is amazing! We loved the design, colors, style and vibe of this accomodation - it's a magic place and we highly recommend a stay! Felt very comfortable the entire stay and communication with very friendly and helpful owner Dave was very proactive and perfect! Thank you for this amazing stay - we couldn't wish for a better christmas holiday than this!

"Had the best stay!"

It was our second stay at the boat house. Everything is beautiful, well designed and comfortable. There’s a decent beach just on the other side of the dune. The hosts gave clear instructions and were friendly & flexible, which we appreciated. The kolkol and pizza oven was our favourite!

There’s free range ostriches in Yzerfontein, who made themselves comfortable just outside the gate, which freaked us out a bit.

"Soothing stay"

The person from next door who occupied our driveway. Unable to watch Stormers game. But these are small things and of absolute zero importance.

"Not as good as it sounds."

No breakfast included

The noise from electrical room could be heard upstairs the entire night. The bedroom door jammed to patio. Front wooden screens couldn’t be opened. No ordinary DSTV. The Kool kool not easy for elderly people to make fire to heat up the tub. It takes at least 4/5 hours to heat the water. Knowing we were arriving between 13/14 hrs the fire could have been started for us. At least one bag of firewood should be supplied. Clean towel badly stained. Directions should have been given. Mossel street is not on Waze. Had great difficult finding the place. Not good value for money. Rates too high.

"Just perfect!"

The house is stylishly put together. It has everything one needs and was so comfortable & clean. It is perfectly located, just a hop, skip & a jump from the beach. The hot tub was perfect for the chilly evenings.
