The Thassian Yard Houses

Our stay here was flawless, but what truly made the difference was the outstanding involvement of the host. It's rare to meet someone who brings such added value to a property. His genuine dedication, warmth, and enthusiasm turned a simple holiday into a deeply human experience. I strongly recommend taking the time to talk with the host – you’ll uncover stories, insights, and perspectives you won’t find in any travel guide. In what seemed like a casual conversation, he managed to surprise us in the most pleasant way. We had the chance to better understand Greece, its people, and its culture through the eyes of someone truly passionate. Without a doubt, he was a valuable guide and a presence that enriched our entire stay. Beyond cleanliness, comfort, amenities, and friendliness, we received something unexpected: an authentic human connection and a sense of place that will stay with us for a long time.

Rizos, the host, is a really great guy, he gave us advice about what to do around Thassos, gave us his chair and umbrella (imagine, we came unprepared for sun bathing) and hints about olive oils. The house was clean as a whistle, we found everything we needed in the kitchen and slept like babies.

If you are not tired enough, the noise coming from the road may be a bit unpleasant. But that was not the case since every night we came back really tired and sleeping like a bear in the cave was an easy thing to do.

It was a really good holiday at thassian yard house. It has all the things you need. The owner is so helpfull with all. The place is close to the beach and only 5 min walk from a city with a lot of restaurants.

The Thassian Yard Houses are set in a grove of olive trees that are a thousand years old. The hosts are the best who will help you with anything you need - including food, transportation, etc... the best hosts of any inn I've ever stayed at. Everything about this was great and nothing needs to be changed. These are small apartment like units so know that you will need to go to a store for provisions.

Thank you for such a great vacation. Everything was perfect. The apartment is in a beautiful location among olive trees and not far from the sea .Everything was clean and comfortable. The owner of the apartment is very kind, responsive, and tried his best to ensure comfort during your stay.

One of the best accommodations we have experienced so far in Thassos, a place surrounded by olive trees and very close to a peaceful beach, the host is very nice, the place is very clean and you have all you need for a perfect and comfortable stay.

Modern and new apartments at a great location, in the middle of olive groove, perfect for everyone looking for peace and quiet. Equiped with everything you would need in terms of amenities inside. Close proximity of beach, city, ferry and also a supermarket. The hosts were super friendly, nice and were there to help with anything.
