Heart of Vilnius

Mitten in der Stadt, dennoch ruhig und mit Parkplatz. Vermieter ist nett. hilfsbereit und mit guter Kommunikation.

Ist nicht für mehr als 2 Personen geeignet, da es sich um ein kleines Appartement handelt.

La posizione nel centro storico della citta' vecchia ma allo stesso tempo un posto veramente tranquillo e rilassante. La struttura molto pulita. Letto comodo e spazi per riporre le cose. La camera si trova al piano superiore. Grazioso il piccolo patio davanti l'entrata della casa con un tavolino e due sedie. È stato un piacevolissimo soggiorno.

Un po' scomoda la doccia senza un piano d'appoggio per shampoo e sapone. Purea la tenda sempre della doccia sarebbe da levare e mettere una chiusura. Alcuni pezzi del patio erano scollati e bisognosi di riparazione.

We loved Ben’s apartment in Vilnius old town. It’s in a courtyard accessed through an arched entrance and you can tell this and the neighboring apartments were once horse stables at some point in Vilnius’s long history. We couldn’t have asked for a better location with lots of historic sites nearby, as well as restaurants and cafes, a Rimi grocery store, and the bridge crossing over to the Republic of Uzupis. It’s also a 7-10 minute walk from the riverside bus stop where you can catch the No. 2 bus to the main train station (which is right next to the main bus station), so easy access to public transportation that can take you to places beyond Vilnius, like Trakai Castle. The apartment is even nicer in person, has both translucent curtains for privacy as well as heavy blackout curtains for summer nights. Ben was a really nice host, located nearby, and was available to help with any questions. Vilnius is an absolutely wonderful city! We highly recommend the view from the top of Gediminus Hill (walk up or take the funicular), the museum in the nearby Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania (especially the two VR headset “tours” we did with our young son), and the super fun Museum of Illusions. If it’s available, stay here! Thank you, Ben!

Only thing to point out is the hardness of the sofa bed. While I prefer firm beds, it was even a little too firm for me. The main bed upstairs was very nice, though.

Great location- close to the heart of old town while very quiet and secluded. Comfy bed, good amount of storage space. Loved vintage look of the loft. We had a parking spot which was great!

Shower could benefit from a small shelf for shampoo/ soap. Also, wood deck could use a fix as some pieces were loose.
