Location is great.

Lots of light bulbs not working. Wifi not working most of the time. Needs a good clean.

Amazing and convenient location with beautiful views. Nice design and layout, comfortable bed and loo separate from bathroom with extra basin helpful, as was washing machine

Needs some love and attention to detail. This is not a budget stay at c.650Nz dollars a night. Glad we only had 2 nights here from the facilities point of view. Other much cheaper places on our 30 day trip have been SO much better! Outside there are breathtaking views of Lake Tekapo and Mt Cook, but no seating or tables on the deck to eat at or have a drink, and if eating inside the hedge is too high to see the Lake... what a waste! The ugly concrete table and benches is at the back near the bins....and there were two young and old piles of dog poo left on the longer cut lawn grass. Inside there is an eclectic mix of furniture that is worn in places and some light bulbs missing or not working. The kitchen area is spacious and well laid out but budget appliances and lack of crockery, glasses and sharp knives is unforgivable at this price. There were 3 dinner plates and only two mismatched wine glasses for example. The cooker rings took forever to heat up; the dishwasher soap tablet holder was broken. No basics like salt and pepper.
