Roland Apartment Downtown - Rottenbiller

Furniture was nice and clean, everything new.

The smell when I came immediately hit me. Like someone was smoking there before me. The sheets were not changed at all, they smelled like they were used after somebody. And the drain in the bathroom shower was smelly as well. AC was not working properly either. So bad excuse. At least I stayed there only for one night.

I had the worst experience ever at this apartment. If you think about sleeping at night, forget it – there’s a dysfunctional family living next door who stays up all night in the hallway. If you think about getting some rest during the day, that won't happen either because there’s demolition work happening outside the building. Even though this place is listed as an apartment, we found out upon arrival that towels were not included. For two people staying four nights, we received only two rolls of thin toilet paper. When we asked for more, we were given just one additional roll. To top it all off, when we arrived late at night, we had the wrong code for the safe. The plastic blankets and pillows were nothing like actual bedding; they felt more like something you'd find on a bunk bed in a student dormitory. We have never had such a bad experience with Booking.com before. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
