Aan de Paarlberg

The accommodation for New Year's Eve was a gift to our daughter who could not go away for the holiday and this review is their report of their stay. They had 2 rooms for 2 adults and a child. They called shortly after they arrived there- telling how beautiful it is: everything from the view, rooms, garden with swimming pool and the area where the guesthouse is. The dining room and verandah are available for guest to eat at night. The New Year was awaited here while enjoying the stunning view of the Paarl valley. Even though it was New Year and most places are short-staffed, the staff were super friendly and check in and parking were without problems. The cooked breakfast was perfect. Cereals were also available. They were fortunate to even have a jacuzzi in their room. The guesthouse was recently renovated by new owners and is highly recommended for comfortable rooms, stunning views and a beautiful quiet area of the town. Value for money!

This is a steep area high up against Paarl Mountain. People who have difficulty with stairs may struggle to use the stairs. There are however rooms at street level with safe parking. It may be a good idea to book one of these rooms and still enjoy this stunning guesthouse

Absolutely stunning Very clean staff made sure booking in is a breeze. Beautiful room. clean. Love it that there was save parking and a little court yard right outside our room

With the high standards and beautiful views you would expect an excellent breakfast. Unfortunately it was very disappointing. Very low budget and and inattentive staff. If you looking for a beautiful clean place this is for you! But don't have any expectations when you go down for breakfast.

I liked everything of the accomodation

Super beautiful house. With great views. It's awesome to sit on the balcony and have a braai with that amazing view

Only thing I can complain about is the fact that there was no lighter or matches to light the fire with.
