Ari and Hellen are amazing people! very sweet and kind, always there to help you! They cooked for us for free so many times and the breakfast is delicious. They will make you feel like you are part of their family. I definitly recommand to go their if you go to Labuan Badjo, i was a bit sad to leave.

Definitely one of the best places I've stayed. The people there are amazing and I felt welcome immediately. The room is clean and recently upgraded with hot water. The breakfast is really very good too, sometimes for me the breakfast guesthouses server are too small but that was definitely not the case here. On top of all that we had some great evenings with a lot of good conversations. I'd definitely recommend this place and stay here again. Oh and they also rent out scooters for a lower price than elsewhere!

Very homely and comfortable with nice shared outdoor area. Hosts were lovely and spoke really good English. They offered a good breakfast with vegetarian options and will pack it for you if you are going on a Komodo trip. Arief picked us up from the airport and dropped us off and also is willing to take you to and from the town for a price. It is located in a more rural area of Labuan Bajo with cows right outside the homestay! Feels very authentic. Quite clean and fairly quiet due to its location.

It is located far from the town so requires transport into town either via hosts or Grab bike which adds cost.

Wirklich ein besonderer Home Stay! Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt und war begeistert von der Herzlichkeit und Gastfreundlichkeit von Ellen, Arief und dem restlichen Team von D'Flora! Alle sind immer offen für Gespräche, kennen sich sehr gut aus in Flores und können viele Tipps für Reisen und Aktivitäten geben. Ich kann die angebotenen Touren auch vollstens empfehlen. Das Frühstück war immer klasse! Bei Fragen wurde mir immer weitergeholfen. Wer ein anonymes Luxus Hotel sucht ist hier falsch. Wer aber mehr über die Insel und die Menschen kennenlernen möchte, dem bieten sich hier alle Möglichkeiten.

We ended up here after our flight got cancelled and we loved it a lot. I really want to come back. The breakfast was amazing!

The person who took care of us was absolutely lovely—attentive and genuinely helpful, and they gave us great tips for things to do. The price is unbeatable for Labuan Bajo.

Despite the above—and fully aware of how low the price is—I didn’t find the accommodation comfortable, either in terms of the facilities or its distance from the city center. I hate to say it because they’re truly lovely, but I wouldn’t recommend it unless you’re on a very tight budget.
