Cave View self catering cottages

Wonderful stay - farm surroundings, comfortable bed, Netflix and Google available, clean unit and lovely and. Friendly staff.

Really nice getaway close to Jhb.

Pictures on site are not chalet or cottage specific. Owners kindly moved us from a cottage to the granary that had a private garden but staircase to bedrooms was treacherous especially for over 60's. Note that some of the other cottages have permanent renters and in very close proximity to each other and the driving lane linking them all has ongoing traffic from renters making it dangerous for dogs.

Peace and quiet tranquillity, the hosts were super helpful. Property is great and good for the soul.

Hard bed and pillows, no face clothes in the bathroom. This was not a huge problem, would just be an added bonus. I was able to make do.

The area was beautiful. Located precisely where we wanted to be, not too far to any of the attractions we had planned to enjoy on our mini family holiday. The unit was small, but it was just a place for us to rest and recover after days spent out and about, so it served its purpose well. It was neat and clean and safe and secure. Staff were lovely too.

All was fine. We just couldn't quite get the knack of the gas geyser so our showers were interesting as the water temp sometimes had a mind of its own in the middle of a shower. But it's summer and made for a good laugh (at least the kids thought so). Also a bit frustrating not being able to close the bedroom door but again not a deal breaker.

Le logement est idéalement situé pour visiter les grottes de Sterkfontein ou encore le lions and safari park ( que je recommande d'ailleurs) . Il se trouve à une heure environ de l'agitation de Johannesbourg et est très calme.

J'aurais souhaité profiter de la piscine mais l'eau très verte nous en a dissuadé.

It is well located close to all the activities.The place was clean and neat.Phindile and Milo was very helpful and made our stay enjoyable they where always available when assistance was required.We definitely going back for a longer stay.

It was abit cold maybe some heaters for the rooms.But everything else was perfect.
