"Ongoing maintenance issues and misleading properties"

Location

This is not the property we originally booked. When I called to inquire about collecting the keys, I was informed of a plumbing issue. This is the second time I’ve experienced a last-minute maintenance issue through Booking.com — clearly, there needs to be a more reliable system in place to manage these situations, especially during peak periods like school holidays. We were moved to a different flat that did not match the standard or amenities listed in the original property, and frankly, it was not worth the amount we paid. If the advertised property is not available, it should not be listed. We did not stay there, and it feels misleading. At 15:45 on Saturday, we received a call asking if we wanted to move to the original unit. Unfortunately, we were out for the day and leaving early the next morning, so relocating wasn’t feasible. I had read reviews mentioning similar issues but decided to give it a chance — only to have the same excuse used again. Why does this property consistently have maintenance problems? Its ridiculous and the fact that I called 3 hours before check in time and get told there's a problem with the unit, is unacceptable... Unfortunately, majority of my rating will be a sad face as I did not stay in this unit but insists on me rating after I deleted the message so many times.

Agent advised of the unavailability of the place the morning guests were supposed to arrive - was going to offer a place FAR from there but eventually got something in the area … was soooooo rude afterwards about guests making pillows dirty …will NOT book again thanks
