Good location, friendly staff and cheap great meals you can order from the reception to be delivered from a restaurant . Free coffee and water, little swimming pool. Help with transport and activities.

There was a managers wedding that weekend so quite noisy, also local people come to the reception bar area which is quite noisy if your room is across from the bar.

The staff were incredibly helpful — they arranged an e-scooter for me whenever I needed it, assisted with the bus when I was leaving, and even helped organize my pick-up. The room was very clean, and the common areas were cozy and comfortable. It was a lovely place to spend the evenings. Overall, a great stay!

Le petit-déjeuner est froid : comme ils n’ont pas de cuisine sur place, il faut le commander la veille et il est préparé ailleurs. Résultat, la qualité n’est vraiment pas au rendez-vous. Pour ma part, j’ai eu droit à 3 œufs durs, et mon mari et mes enfants ont eu des nouilles froides. Le dortoir pour 4 est très basique et les oreillers durs. La climatisation est bruyante. Nous avons constaté la présence de petites bêtes dans l’un des lits, ce qui a beaucoup dérangé mon fils et il y a une forte odeur d’humidité dans les deux chambres que nous avions louées. Nous leur avons demandé les service d'un guide anglais pour la journée et il n'était vraiment pas super et son anglais approximatif et difficile à comprendre. Nous y avons passé deux nuits puis avons décidé de partir à la suite d’un malentendu sur la réservation. Finalement, nous sommes très contents d’avoir changé : nous avons séjourné dans un super hôtel à 300 m de là (Nova hôtel) , bien mieux placé, très qualitatif, à côté de l’un des meilleurs restaurants de la ville (restaurant le Delicious) , avec des lits confortables et un petit-déjeuner royal (banana cake, œufs au plat, etc.), le tout fait maison, et juste en face d’un loueur de e-bikes et d'un chauffeur guide touristique Le tout pour seulement 10 € de plus en tout par nuit pour notre famille de 7, par rapport à l’Ostello Bello, qui a beaucoup de commentaires simplement parce qu’il y a peu d'hôtels référencés sur Booking. Mon conseil : allez directement à New Bagan et demandez le Nova Hotel, près du restaurant Delicious. Ça vous changera totalement votre séjour à Bagan !

This is the only place in Bagan to do both have a good time and meet good friends and travel buddies for Myanmar. At the rest of the hotels in Bagan you will feel lonely and bored. The price is very budget-friendly. The location is at the quite and safest area. The staff is sweet, friendly and helpful, the beds are always clean and comfy, the breakfast choice is flexible as well: veg/non veg, spicy/non spicy. And the general manager is also very kind - every time before I come back (it's not my first time here) she blocks a bed for me a bed in case of fully booked for numerous Myanmar holidays. Love you OB team! 🤗

I kindly wish staff to set up a clothes hanger in 10-bed dorm toilets, which is actually not a big issue ha ha! 🤗

Everything was perfect

I had a great stay here! I stayed for 5 nights and was the only guest in the room, so it felt like having a private room all to myself. The staff are always smiling and super friendly. The hostel can help organize almost anything you need, and the prices are very reasonable. If I ever come back to Bagan, I’d definitely stay here again!
