Logan Square Coach House

The bed is comfortable, and Logan Square is nice (at 15-20’ by walk though)

When you see the photos of the property it's actually not really where you’ll stay, they've been modified (brightness +++) the place is dark, you don't really have any windows, and you're at the back of the owner's house (so the front house shown in Booking is their house...). You don’t see how is the real entrance because yeah, it’s way less nice (the owners are not completely honest about this point). You pass through a little street on the side of their house and I felt a bit like I was in a rat hole. The entrance of the actual flat is a bit dilapidated and there's no door to the bedroom (a sort of sliding wooden panel). The flat is cold and you only have a boiler that makes a crazy noise all the time. The shower gives a fine trickle of water and has no pressure…

Privacy and comfortable couch.

Check out was at 10am. There was an over abundance of plug-ins and odor reducing products. Gave me a headache. There was no lighting in the alleyway which was hard to navigate in the dark. The locks on the doors have seen better days. It was difficult to lock the place up, especially at night when there were no lights.

The water pressure in the bathroom could have been better. There was also a very unpleasant smell in the sunroom.

Cute street in Logan Square neighborhood. Located within an easy walk to coffee shops. Hosts are very responsive. Coach House is very clean, quiet, private and comfortable. Large living area with TV, large comfortable sofa, refrigerator and bonus washer/dryer. Great space for either a short or long stay.

Would like a hair dryer in the bathroom. Bedding options: light-weight blankets.

Private, comfortable space, size, price, location are great

Some improvements needed - entry stairs are a little precarious, entryway could be spruced up, tub is a bit wobbly, the path to carriage house is not well lit at night.

The place was absolutely spotless and had amazing decor. It had a working kitchen setup with all the amenities. It even has a washing machine . The host was amazing and ready to attend to any needs .

Train stations are about 12-13 min walk

I liked the size of the house and the decor. Cleanliness and AC were assets. Owners were easy to contact and took care of what I asked them for.

I didn’t like the smelled very bad when I first enter the house. I didn’t like the tiny bathtub. I also had trouble with plugging in my charger in the electric outlets. They were too old and sunken inside the wall.
