La Terrazza di Francesco

Die Terasse ist sehr schön und groß. Es ist ein Aufzug im Haus, sodass auch Menschen die nicht gut zu Fuß sind das oberste Stockwerk, in dem die Wohnung liegt, gut erreichen können. Ein Supermarkt ist direkt um die Ecke.

Die Terasse ist sehr schön, leider stinkt es aus dem Gulli der Außendusche. Das Bad ist zu klein. Außerdem ist der Duschvorhang zu kurz, sodass nach dem Duschen das ganze Bad unter Wasser steht. Die Küche ist auch sehr klein. Aber am schlimmsten war das Verhalten des Vermieters. Alles begann schon vor Anreise als ich von einem Drittanbieter „Holidu“ per Chat aufgefordert wurde den Vermieter per Whatsapp zu kontaktieren. Nachdem ich selber mich an die Booking Regeln halte, habe ich das nicht getan. Ich wurde immer wieder aufgefordert, Whatsapp zu nutzen und erst nach mehrmaligem Kontakt mit dem Kundenservice von Booking wurde das akzeptiert. Auch bei Ankunft hat sich der Vermieter noch mehrmals darüber beschwert, dass ich keine Handynummer rausgeben und fälschlicherweise gesagt, er hätte dann keine Möglichkeit mit uns zu kommunizieren. Außerdem wurde beim Check-In versuch Fotos von unseren Ausweisen zu machen. Wir haben das unterbunden, daraufhin hat der Vermieter genervt den Check-In dann doch direkt gemacht und nur die notwendigen Daten eingegeben, nicht aber ohne vorher auf Italienisch „So eine Scheiße!“ zu sagen. Ich würde nicht nochmal bei ihm buchen und die Unterkunft auch nicht weiterempfehlen, denn es gibt kein Verständnis für Datenschutz noch freundlichen Umgang, das ist für mich ein No Go!

Only the terrace, but when not raining. When raining it was apocalyptic- water from the roof. We had coffee and tea which was nice.

Very bad condition beds! Very uncomfortable bathroom. If we wanted a vacuum cleaner he wanted 30€ by use. If we wanted washing machine - 30€ by use. He also charged us 32 € for tourists without prompt in booking! The sleeping sheets were old and ripped. The fleece blankets smelled very bad. Floors were dirty when we arrived- the owner’s daughter suggested to wipe it with the dish cloth if we don’t want to pay for vacuum cleaner. When my bank did not recognise his Iban for the tourist tax - he became verbally offensive (I keep screenshots). In Rome we slept 200m from the Vatican for this price - with perfect beds, bathrooms, terrace, exceptional view, clean and without extra tourist tax, WM tax, VC tax. I’m very sorry that I have to write this, but people should enjoy and sleep well when they pay this kind of money!

Apartament is very specious and equipped in everything you need. Location is also great, closed to restaurants, shops, 10 minutes walk from old ton as well as train and bus station. Francesco is great host, very helpful with providing informations if you need any. Oh, and terrace is great.

The street is super noisy so sleeping with the windows open is not the option but with closed windows you cannot hear anything and there is an air con. It’s very difficult to take a shower without spilling the water on the bathroom floor.

The property was well laid out and the additional terrace was fabulous. It was close to the beautiful Old Town m and easy access to the train/bus services.

Francesco, the host, was extremely helpful, responsive and nice. He went far beyond what we expected by providing everything for our 1yo son - a baby chair, cutlery and crockery, and even a baby cot! We were arriving in Bari in the evening and Francesco provided us with some amazing, fresh Italian food for the dinner (Thank you again!). The apartament is spacious, very comfortable for a family of 4. The location is fantastic - 10-15min walk to the Old Town and the same to the train station from where you can quickly travel to other beatiful places and to the airport. The kitchen was very well equipped. The apartament was clean, the tarrace is lovely but we didn’t use its potential as we were there in early March.

The bathroom is small and water leaks from the shower on the floor - you must use it carefully and simply get used to it, it’s not a big deal.
