Sahara Dunes Luxury Camp

The property was nice, the hotel was well located and the tents were very luxurious.

This listing was dodgy. It turns out that we never even found out the hotel’s real name until our tour guide told us to request the hotel website (it was Sahara Stars camp). Also, had to pay extra for an air conditioned room in the desert in the summer. Nothing really against the actual hotel other than they didn’t take card payment, then they were refusing PayPal when the man we spoke to, who we assume is the intermediary, said we could pay with it. A reminder to always request the hotel website and verify the hotel name. Apparently this type of scam is very common.

Great experience! Hassan was extremely kind. We were warmly welcomed into 5 star Camp ! The rooms are very clean and comfortable! The evening meal was delicious and the small celebration around the fire was very pleasant. I recommend 100%

When we made the reservation, we received a message from the property with details about the meeting point, which was a hotel in the city where we had parked our car. We were warmly greeted there, and the staff took our luggage with their SUV. We then take a camel ride through the dunes to the camp, accompanied by Mustapha, who took some beautiful pictures for us. We stopped at the highest dune to watch the sunset and enjoy the serene atmosphere. Upon reaching the camp, we were welcomed again in an exceptional manner with a traditional Moroccan drink and cookies. Our tent was beautifully decorated, cool yet warm, and felt like a 5-star room, complete with a hot shower, sink, and comfortable beds. Later, we had a delicious lunch in a romantic and magical atmosphere, with excellent service from the staff : Ayoub, Ali, and Hassan. After dinner, we enjoyed a traditional drum party around the fire, where the staff performed first, followed by karaoke, with guests singing songs from their home countries. in the morning we had a very complete breakfast picture with the lovely stuff and to the next time inshallah

It was a truly special experience.
