Depa Santa María

The reservation was made July 12th. The stay was July 28th. In between I sent a reply to the host saying what time we were arriving. At around 7:00 pm we called and the person was saying we should have called earlier. It sent us direction but asked us to wait 30 minutes to make it ready. Looking at the check in time, the date the reservation was made and the fact that it had been already charged to my CC, the right thing to do was to have it ready earlier. When we arrived we saw a man wearing rubber gloves and cleaning. He then said he had asked for 45 minutes. We said we were on foot and tired. He opened up a little room with a bed and a washroom for waiting. When I commented to him the room should have been prepared hours earlier he said that he found out about our arrival a few moments earlier. That he didn’t know we were arriving, to which I reply that “ the left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing”. The location is on the main road. Noisy. The door is glass and surrounding windows without a cover. They face the busy main avenue. No privacy There is a balcony door in one room that it is a death trap. There is no balcony! If you open it you just drop to the main floor. There is a coffee machine but no coffee. Only sugar. And the flooring, bathroom abd sink not great No head boards. While we were in a museum someone calls. Ignored my complaints but was urging us to leave by 3 pm because he had a family coming. We were not treated equally. I would never go back to that place. The traffic noise was bad. And a cow next door woke me up earlier
