GBLocation was good except it’s on a very noisy road. The host Jenny was nice.
You are renting a room in a family house, which we didn’t feel comfortable doing and hadn’t realised this. You had to shut windows to keep out the noise of the main road outside. You had to walk down a corridor to go to the bathroom. The shower had no shower curtain so you had sit in the bath to shower. There was no plugs by the bedside to charge your phones and the bed side table lamps ran on batteries which had run out. If you need reading glasses you will struggle to get in your room as you had to tap in the security code to get in the house and your room. Even when you get the code right it often takes 3 attempts as the touch pad sensitivity is poor .
DEDie Gastgeberin war super hilfsbereit und freundlich, das Zimmer gut ausgestattet (kleines Waschbecken, Besteck, Klimagerät) und alles sehr hübsch eingerichtet. Das Frühstück war fantastisch. Wir wären hier gerne noch länger geblieben.
Es gibt nichts zu kritisieren.

IEOn the plus, hosts seemed lovely, excellent location, room was clean, bathroom close by on landing, and parking free and on street within easy access. Lovely decor and design. Fresh clean bedding.
Looks a bit run down on first impressions from the outside so we were pleasantly surprised when we saw the inside! However, the room is small for 3 x people especially a teenager and 2 adults. It’s very noisy on the street outside with traffic but we had to keep the window open for air so did not have a good sleep. A thicker glazed window would definitely help. Also there was an annoying noise coming off the pipes underneath the sink in our room which stopped when I said it to the host. I think it was connected to appliances / plumbing in the rest of house. I would never normally complain but it was late in the evening and I wanted to sleep!
